Hi Everyone! I wanted to take some time to tell you about our favorite Walt Disney World snacks... there are so many great options that it can be overwhelming!
However, if you are using one of the Disney Dining Plans, you will want to make sure that you are spending at least $5 on each snack to really get your money's worth. One thing to be aware of is that if you choose your snacks carefully, they can be as big as a meal, which allows you to use your meal credits more liberally or double them up for specialty and character dining without having to pay out of pocket!
Pro Tip #1: Starbucks counts as a snack credit! If you can't live without your fancy coffee or frappuccino, this is good news for you. You can hit the Starbucks near the main entrance and start your day off well caffeinated, without having to dip into your wallet!
Pro Tip #2: If you want bottled drinks and have a dining plan, order a bottled water or soda with your meal and then have a plain glass of water. This works out better than buying a bottle of water with a snack credit or out of pocket.)
So, without any further ado and truly in no particular order... Our Top 10 Best Snacks!

1. Dole Whip Float. You can pick up this frozen pineapple confection at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom or at the Polynesian Resort.

2. Mickey Pretzel with Cheese Dip. There is no better snack than a warm soft pretzel dipped in cheese sauce! Being Mickey shaped just makes it taste even better! You can find these scattered around the parks. Bonus is that a snack credit includes both the pretzel and the cheese dip!

3. Churro. Who doesn't love fried dough coated in cinnamon and sugar?! You can pick these up in various locations throughout the Disney Parks & Disney Springs.

4. Caramel and Candy Apples. I think these are self explanatory. They are available throughout the parks and Disney Springs.

5. Funnel Cake. Hot, sweet and classically American; you can pick this up at the American Pavilion (surprise!) in Epcot. There are several versions that involve ice cream, but the classic powdered sugar version is the one covered by the snack plan.

6. Mickey Beignets. Stop by Sassagoula Factory and Floatworks at the Port Orleans French Quarter resort to try these out. The 3 pack counts as a single credit and is absolutely worth it. Be prepared for the powdered sugar explosion!

7. Kaki Gori, Japanese shave ice with fruit syrup. This is amazing either with or without the sweet milk! Especially on a hot day. You can find it at the Kabuki Cafe in the Japan Pavilion in Epcot. My personal favorite is the melon.

8. BBQ Pork Buns. These are a meal in themselves. Delicious fluffy pastry filled with BBQ pork and steamed. You can grab these at the Joy of Tea in the China Pavilion in Epcot.

9. Sushi is available at the Katsura Grill in the Japan Pavilion. You can choose between a Combo Box(4 pieces California Roll & 3 pieces Nigiri), California Roll, Spicy Roll and Vegetable Roll. This lighter snack can be a nice change from a lot of the heavier foods around.

10. Ham and Cheese Croissant. Delicious and gooey, this could even work as a meal. You can pick it up at the Boulangerie Patisserie in France in Epcot.
